The Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) on March 24, 2025, notified regarding the new schemes and programmes to support SMEs.
The following has been stated namely: -
It states that it has launched the MSME Trade Enablement and Marketing (MSME TEAM) Initiative in FY 2024-25 with a financial outlay of ₹27.35 crores, aiming to promote e-commerce among MSMEs, particularly focusing on women entrepreneurs, through Digital Public Infrastructure and ONDC.
It states that the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) has been appointed as the implementing agency for the scheme, conducting workshops in collaboration with the Ministry of MSME, State Governments, and ONDC to raise awareness and facilitate MSME on boarding onto the ONDC platform.
It notified that the initiative is part of the Central Sector Scheme Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance Program (RAMP) to support the digital transformation of MSMEs and enhance their market reach.
